About me
As the Director of Career Services for the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Computer Science, Stephanie Johnson develops and implements programmatic strategies to support the career advancement of over 1,800 students. She oversees all career initiatives, leads a team of Computer Science Career Assistants, and collaborates with faculty and employers to integrate career development into the curriculum. Additionally, she serves as the liaison to the UNC School of Data Science and Society, where she is responsible for developing career services programming. Johnson holds a master's degree from North Carolina State University and has a background in career counseling and project management. She has held roles at Duke University, North Carolina State University, and Innovate Carolina, where she supported entrepreneurial endeavors among students and alumni. She is dedicated to improving student career outcomes and fostering industry connections to ensure success in the tech workforce and academia.
