About me
Emma Dehne is Director of the MADS program. Before joining the School of Data Science and Society in 2022, she served the university for ten years in the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor and in the School of Medicine.
Dehne was born and raised in New York City, and received a M.A. in political science from Long Island University in 1998. She interned for State Senator Serphin R. Maltese and later became a community liaison and advisor within the office; working on issues such as education, healthcare, and veteran affairs. Dehne was an adjunct professor at the University of Limerick, Ireland, and taught American politics and government.
